Great location, great Shuttle (very convenient and makes stops frequently) very safe (right next to UAPD, down the street from the fire department, and also next to the hospital). Haven't had more than a fruit fly in my apartment so far and maintenence is extremely fast - I've made requests on the way back from class that were already handled before I came home. Trash disposal is incontinent from my building (furthest from the dumpster) and only one building has an elevator which seems worrisome in case of leg injuries. Parking is bad - spaces are very narrow, as are the roads between them. It's hard to see the incoming traffic and that's already caused me an accident last semester. Very close to the marching band practice fields (they're usually done by 10pm tho) and the train tracks (not too loud unless you're facing them, but the buildings do shake from the vibrations like a small earthquake at times). Vending machine (a huge selling point since it's huge and like a mini convenience store) hasn't been stocked since November last year, and the clubhouse is not open 24-7 like the gym and computer lab are I do like the free coffee and occasional snacks in the clubhouse though, and it's usually nice and quiet there, so it's a good place to hang out and study or be loud without bothering roommates. Walls aren't too thin but it's east to hear the doors open/shut and louder roommates, but most everyday noises are pretty quiet and harder to hear. Rent js expensive, but compared to other offerings this close to campus it's not too bad (furnished, individual leases, nice amenities and great staff/maintenence). Room was clean when I moved in - carpet steam cleaned and walls repainted, which was nice, but the common area was not cleaned to my knowledge (though my roommates lived here last year too so that may be why it wasn't cleaned). Water tastes a but funky here but that could just be the sink; it's fine if you filter it.
